It is our right time to have a Betawi Homepage in every library

The Jakarta Library and Archives Agency (Dispusip) has inaugurated the Betawi Homepage at the Office of Central Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency (Sudin Pusip).

On that occasion, Ja karta Dispusip Head Wahyu Hariyadi said that Betawi Homepage was built in order to enforce the Gubernatorial Regulation number 76/2018 on Culture of Reading Fondness and number 4/2015 on Preservation of Betawi Culture.

"It is our right time to have a Betawi Homepage in every library, which is a form of library's role in preserving local wisdom and collections about Jakarta," he expressed, Wednesday (7/22).

Central Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency Head Meti Lastri added the Betawi culture in Jakarta could be increasingly attached and become literature for the community.

"Hopefully Betawi culture can become a reference for the public, especially those who need literature about Jakarta," he stated.
